Gatchaman, Battle of the Planets, Eagle Riders, G-Force. Kagaku Ninja Tai Gatchaman for our Japanese friends.  Whatever you want to call it, this was an EXTRAORDINARY animated series from Japan produced by Tatsunoko Productions in the 1970's and early 1980's.

It was released in various forms in other countries as well, including the United States, where as a child I got hooked.  It's battles between good & evil, the personal relationships between the team members, and the animation style & action caught my attention and never let go.  This ain't no Super Friends.

I have been lovingly haunted by this childhood memory ever since, and have searched all my life for any information I could get.  Here is some of what I've found...
